How to increase a Chromebook’s font size

Increasing the font size can make it easier to read the text on your Chromebook.

Screen resolution

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Device > Displays
  3. Next to “Display size,” shift the slider towards Large to, “make items on your screen larger.”

Linux Terminal

  1. Launch Terminal
  2. Press Ctrl - Shift - P to open the Terminal’s Profile settings.
  3. Under “Appearance”, you will find the “Text font size” option.
